As usual, Isca started the game strongly with some good hockey, and had a couple of chances in the first half. However, Dawlish were strong on the break which kept the Isca defence busy. At half time the score was 0 – 0.
Isca seemed to lose their way in the second half and Dawlish kept pushing forward. Their reward was a short corner which Isca tried to clear but couldn’t, resulting in Dawlish scoring. Isca tried to pick themselves up and started moving the ball around but it was their final pass that let them down. Dawlish intercepted the ball and got another short corner from which they scored. Isca’s player of the match was Jane Carr.
