With a renewed positive mental attitude, Isca started as they meant to go on, playing good hockey and creating chances during the first half. Sidmouth played a physical game and fought hard, eventually scoring the first goal. The formidable defence, along with strong performances from the midfield, gave Isca a confident hold on the game. Continued good play created opportunities, and eventually Isca equalised with a goal from Naomi Rubbra, who was later voted player of the match.
Isca can feel proud with their team performance, good gamesmanship and positive attitude throughout the match. The score did not reflect the effort and good hockey played by the team.
